Other singing opportunities
Voicemale, a weekly harmony singing session for men, takes place on Wednesdays at 8pm at Langside Parish Church, 167 Ledard Rd, GLASGOW G42 9QU, as part of the community outreach programme called Finn's Place. All sorts of harmony styles traditionally sung by men, just for fun, taught by ear.
Every first Friday of the month, you can sing shapenote ("Sacred Harp") music in Glasgow at an informal gathering known as the First Friday Sing run by Shapenote Scotland. There is also a Third Friday Sing in Edinburgh, and occasional singings from the Shenandoah Harmony.
